No one could accuse Lee Odden of being lazy. In addition to running successful public relations and SEO firms, he’s a well-known blogger to boot.
Aaron Wall of SEOBook recently sat down to talk with Odden about blogging, SEO, public relations and where the different disciplines converge. Oh yea, and his favorite cookie.

Odden on how traditional PR people can reach out to bloggers: With blogs, there is no planned story calendar outside of the pre-defined categories of the blog. Most bloggers like be first, so sending bloggers an email the night before a news release is distributed isn’t a bad idea - no embargo either. Sending a press release to a blogger a week before the release goes out with an embargo is annoying as hell.”
