If you’re going to put up a blog saying negative things about your employer, it probably doesn’t help if that employer is one the world’s leaders in finding and retrieving information. Oh yea, and you’re using their software to do it.

Lots of talk going on at Threadwatch about Mark Jen, the Google employee who goes by the blog handle “NinetyNineZeroes” and the guy that some are saying is being silenced by the Google powers that be.

His blog went mysteriously dark after he posted some disparaging remarks about his experience as a new Googler, though you can still read the full version here.

Most suspicious is that, as John Battelle points out, you can access the blog in Yahoo’s cache but not Google’s. Has Google taken it out manually? Kind of makes you wonder…

UPDATE: Mark Jen is back again. He said he’s sorry and can now come out of his room. Read about it here.

Jay-Z and Linkin Park are fine and all, but remember who did it first:http://www.cnn.com/interactive/entertainment/0211/gallery.rappers.movies/gallery.ice-t.jpg

I was doing a search on Google for New York City Subway Directions. It displayed a link for SubwayInfo.com. But when I clicked on the link, I came here. Does anyone know why this happened?
